PicoBrew is showcasing its Z series brewing appliance that allows amateur beer makers or coffee aficionados to create craft beer, cold brew coffee and kombucha in batch sizes.

The Z series appliance allows homebrewers and professional craftsmen to use their own loose grains and coffee to create custom batches and scale up as production is needed, PicoBrew said.

The appliance runs brewing cycles with control over temperature, fluid flow and timing. Additional components can be added to the brewing machine for professional use, and the machine can also use PicoPaks to make brewing beer easier.

The Z series runs anywhere between $2,500 and $8,500 depending on the size of the machine (between 2.5 gallons and 10 gallons). The company expects to begin shipping the Z series appliance in the spring of this year.

At CES, PicoBrew will be demonstrating its appliances and providing cold brew coffee and craft beer at the Sands Expo in booth no. 41218.
