The Johnson SMPM Series is designed for very high-frequency applications where minimum space and package density are required. These connectors are 30 percent smaller than standard SMP connectors, and offer operational frequency from DC to 65 GHz. They also offer high electrical reliability where extreme shock and vibration conditions are experienced. The Johnson SMPM product line includes connectors, bullet and between-series adapters.

All Johnson SMP/SMPM products are designed for applications in ATE (automatic test equipment), phased array radar, airborne radar, ground radar, shipboard radar and active antennas systems. The SMP/SMPM series addresses the HDMT (high-density modular test) packaging requirements of the aerospace, defense, telecom and instrumentation markets.
