Royole Corp. has introduced what it claims is the first wearable smart clothing equipped with a high-definition flexible display and sensor technologies.

The flexible shirt and flexible top hat were introduced at the recent World Cup final in Moscow, where fans were able to try out the new smart clothing.

"Individuals can select video content that showcases their personality and stream in real-time from their mobile phone, giving them unlimited portability and versatility,” said Bill Liu, president and CEO of Royole.

Royole said its Flexible+ Wearables are easy to assemble, extremely comfortable to wear and powered by an external lithium battery. The smart clothing supports 3GP/MP4 videos and JPEG/GIF images that are shown on a flexible active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display that can be easily removed from and re-inserted into both the top hat and shirt for washing or dry cleaning.

Royole is accepting pre-orders for the smart clothing with the cost of $899.99 for the hat and shirt each or a combo priced at $1,399. Royole said the pre-orders will be fulfilled in November of this year.
