New DPDT Switch Supports Emerging Applications

11 May 2017

The SKY13698-694LF is a new double pole double throw (DPDT) antenna swap switch designed for smartphones, data cards and MiFi hotspots. Now available from Skyworks, the device features ultra-low insertion loss, high linearity and high isolation (>30 dB at 3.8 GHz) to prevent signal leakage and mitigate Rx desense issues. The wide frequency range of the device (0.4 to 5.9 GHz) also supports emerging high-band applications such as LAA/LTE-U and sub-6 GHz.

The switch is provided in a compact Quad Flat No-Lead (QFN) package measuring 1.83 x 1.83 x 0.5 mm; no external matching components are required.
