Larson Introduces 30-Foot Industrial LED Applications

10 May 2016

Larson Electronics has rolled out a 30-foot horizontal lighting mast that contains four light- emitting diodes (LEDs) for use by industrial operators to bring light to work areas that are very hard to illuminate.

The LM-30-HZ-4X400LTL-LED-EW-WB light mast can be collapsed to 17 feet when not in operation by using an included electric motor and lead screw. The LED light could be used to bring light to industrial tanks, manholes and other work-related locations where available light is not practical, Larson says.

The device comes equipped with pockets on each end for transporting with a skid loader or other heavy-duty machinery and is typically mounted to a trailer or other stable surface. The LED lights are four 400-watt lamps producing 52,000 lumens of light, which combined produce a total of 1,600 watts and 508,000 lumens.
