TDK Corporation has introduced the TDK-Lambda DT100D and DT150D power supply adapters that are compliant with level VI efficiency standards. Suitable for various test and measurement, communications and industrial applications, the adapters meet the stringent average efficiency and no-load power regulations, mandated by the US DoE applicable from February 2016.

Rated 100 to 150 W, the adapters accept a 90 to 264 VAC input and are available with 12 to 48 V outputs. They can operate in ambient temperatures up to +60 oC (de-rating applies above 40 oC). In addition to satisfying Energy Efficiency Level VI with an average efficiency of greater than 87% and an off-load power draw of less than 150 mW, the adapters also meet EU Tier 2 requirements.
The adapters are housed in vent-free enclosures measuring 85 x 170 x 44 mm. AC is applied using a standard IEC 60320-C13 cable and DC provided through a four pin Power-DIN connector. The adapters also feature over-voltage and over-current protection.
The DT100/150-D models have been certified to UL 60950-1, CSA C22.2-No.60950-1, EN 60950-1, IEC 60950-1, and are CE marked for the LVD and RoHS2 Directives. All units meet EN 55022-B, FCC Class B conducted & radiated emissions and EN55024 immunity standards.
